Port Coquitlam Minor Hockey and School District 43 are partnering to tackle food security. Donations raised from members of the association will go directly to schools in Port Coquitlam to help families at breakfast programs, school lunch programs and to provide healthy snacks.
Members’ donations will be collected by the association and provided to the school district to be distributed to schools with established need.
100% of donations will be used to support families.
At Christmas, school teams identify families in need and prepare hampers and buy gifts to make sure that kids have a merry Christmas and feel the same joy that others are feeling at this special time of year.
